The Town of Loxley is taking applications to fill a job vacancy for a Utility Worker Trainee.

JOB SUMMARY:  This is an unskilled position for manual work involving the installation, maintenance, repair and/or construction of water and sewer systems.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Obtain OSHA Trenching/Shoring Awareness Training within 12 months
  • Basic Work Zone Safety and Flagger certifications within 12 months
  • Must obtain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within 2 years of employment

SALARY RANGE:

$26,624.00 – $49,358.00/Annual Rate.  Hiring rate depends on experience.
