Sale of Firetruck

The Loxley Volunteer Fire Department is currently accepting sealed bids from interested parties on a 1986 Grumman Fire Truck.  The bids will be opened the evening of June 7, 2016 at the regular business meeting at 7:00 P.M. at the Loxley Fire Department, Station 1 – 1051 Railroad Street – Loxley, AL  36551.  The truck will be sold “Where Is – As Is” with no warranty.  It is available for inspection and test drive/operation during regular business hours.  After hour appointments can be arranged if necessary.  We will work with you should you wish to see and operate the truck.  The annual Pump Test has not been completed this year, but it did pass last years.  The ladders have passed this year’s annual service test.  The truck was in active service until February of this year.

If you are interested in submitting a bid, please enclose it in a sealed envelope and mail it to:

Please mark on the outside of the envelope: “1986 Grumman Bid”.  We reserve the right to reject all bids if we deem none are sufficient.
